Sometimes we learn more about the Gospel by doing what the Word says. We step outside of ourselves and focus on the needs of others. As we reach out to them to meet their needs, the opportunity for relationship in Christ emerges and their faith can be stirred. Faith in action is a powerful demonstration to the people around us who do not know Jesus.

Throughout the year we encourage the members of the St. John faith community to participate in random acts of kindness in the name of Jesus. Some of the events have been free car washes, handing out cold bottles of water at local outdoor sporting events, providing food and gifts for local families in need at Christmas, scraping of icy windshields at local shopping centers, serving at a soup kitchen, and home repairs for senior citizens and single moms. We demonstrate the God's Love for us is a gift and we offer a kindness in His Name.
