What is Compassion in Action? This group creates opportunities for the entire congregation to participate in helping those in our community who are in need.

They have recently asked the congregation to provide "gifts" for a number of people in need this past Christmas season by posting a list of items needed in the entrance of the church.

The Hat and Mitten tree is also a regular part of the Christmas experience here at St. John. The colorful pieces of clothing decorate a tree in the entrance of the Education Wing and the items are donated to a local charity for distribution. These are just a couple of the programs in which one might serve here at St. John.
